'Locally sourced' has become something of a cliché amongst foodies recently, but with the Mornflake range of Oat Cereals and Muesli, we can safely say they are definitely local, originating in Congleton. The roots of the family company can be traced back to 1675, when William Lea started milling Oats at Swettenham Mill, and over 14 generations, they have evolved this milling process to produce the finest, tastiest and healthiest cereals.
As Jon Lea, the latest member of the family to run the business says: "It's this special way of milling that we've evolved over generations that means we retain all the goodness of the germ and bran - the 'wholegrain', so we, and you of course, can enjoy a healthier, tastier breakfast."
